Good Luck Val i wish you all the best for the rest of your career, Always be welcome back at Alty.

as has been said before a true role model for the younger players in the Squad and just one of those players who could grab a game by the scruf of the neck and drag the team through.

Eddie & Val was the combination that brought us promotion FACT

LEGEND

* JL should add Val to that list of club legends on the main site

Val was the pivottal final piece of the jigsaw, slotting in next to Eddie and behind Colin and Marcus and thundered us through at kettering in the semi and then put the seal on things with a typically unorthodox bullet header against eastbourne that went in because Val decided that was where the ball was going to go.

A model pro who still wants to keep going.

It is clear we are supremely grateful for your efforts Val, that we consider you an Alty legend and that we would not be where we are now if Val Owne had not played for us. ......all the very best for the future.

Well, living abroad, I didn't get to see as much of Val in an Alty shirt as I would have liked, but whenever I did get the chance, what I saw was 100% effort and commitment to the cause. No shortage of ability either. The play-off final will live long in the memory of many and Val was an integral part of that.

All the best Val and I hope you find a club where you can continue to enjoy your football.

Thanks for everything you've done for Altrincham FC Val - a true legend who will be sorely missed at Moss Lane. Good luck finding a new club mate, you'll be a credit to wherever you go.

Thanks for helping get the club where it is now, your contribution can't be understated. If you weren't part of that play off winning side I honestly don't believe we would be sat in the Conference now.

Thanks
