I'm going to perpetuate the rumour which I essentially made up that since Matt Crowell has been released by his Australian club, we MUST be trying to sign him.

As completely unlikely as it is, I would LOVE to sign Matty Crowell and Lewis Chalmers! What a midfield pairing that would be!

Regarding Matty Crowell, didn't we keep his registration to play in the UK should he ever come back?

Had to chuckle at the 'Stan Collymore' .... well that one was a while now ...

Did I see Carlton Palmer talking to Trucker in the Bridge ... sure it was those 2 !!

Maybe it was ROGER Palmer - we were strongly rumoured to be going to sign him a few years ago.........................

I liked Welchy but he just takes so long to get the weight back down after an injury lay-off. It happened to him at Vics and again with us. We can't afford to have a lad literally a stone overweight as our first back-up defender.
