Gateshead match thread
« on: October 23, 2010, 02:46:29 PM »

Figured I may as well start one for those poor souls glued to all communication devices for news.....cup fever by proxy. Any team news?

Afternoon all!

Baynes starts -  1. Stuart COBURN, 2. James SMITH (capt), 5. Robbie WILLIAMS, 4. Marc JOSEPH, 6. Shaun DENSMORE, 25. Matt SOMNER, 20. Sam HEWSON, 27. Andrew MILNE, 11. Nicky CLEE, 17. Wes BAYNES, 9. Michael TWISS. Subs: 21. James COATES, 7. Robbie LAWTON, 15. Ryan BROWN, 8. Damian REEVES, 22. Michael WELCH. 12. Kevin HOLSGROVE, 16. Anthony DANYLYK.

Looks like Twiss on his own up front with Baynes just behind?

I think its as good a team as we can get out.

John Laidlar's updates here: http://www.altrinchamfc.co.uk/update.htm

Unless there's a BBC Radio Gateshead coverage I think this will be our only source of information - so all hail John Laidlar!

Highlight of my day so far was a walk to the post box with Jennifer. She met a couple of wee girls (a little older than  her) and told them about her rubber duck, her wellies, splashing in muddy puddles, shopping and having a "Pwop" where she sais she "Squeeeeeeezed" it out - and that is a direct quote!

Dontcha love wee innocent children!

Get someone else to do it, but don't go into B&Q asking, "I want to get felt!"

Looks cagey so far:

10 still 0-0 and no threats of a goal yet
