The match referee will conduct a pitch inspection between 2-3pm this afternoon.

Lingering freezing fog over Moss Lane as I type this sentence.....and our back garden is frozen solid, so it does look bleak for tomorrow, alas.

Ive just done a pitch inspection on my lawn and it will take a stud, the surface is covered in frost but ground is not frozen.

On uk.weather.com the high for tomorrow is 1deg, with a low of -2.

It's a safe enough bet to say it will be freezing, and given how cold it is now (-3) the pitch, in my opinion, won't recover.

Unless we use all the money from the raffle, to go buy cans of de-icer, and hand them out upon entry to the ground - everyone can have their own square of pitch. Winner!
