Umm my recollections of him are of him on his arse a few times although I do remember him 'working' quite well with Terry

Oi - less of it!

I won't hear a word said against Steve Cross.

Any man who marks his Alty debut by scoring two goals against Northwich is exempt from criticism in my book.

But for some scandalous cheating by Northwich in second half injury time they would have been winning goals as well!

My younger daughter was 12 at the time and she had a 'crush' on him.
Remember him taking a corner at Stalybridge once and we were behind the 'club' end cheering the lads on. She ran down to the corner, hung over the railing and shouted "I love your hair Stevie!"
