Lewis Baines goal was superb! 2-1 at HT. Let's hope we can go the distance. Good to see CCC looking like he's back on form - he's panicking their defenders and drew the free kick that led to the second goal.

A dull game between two sides that pretty much cancelled each other out. Alty clearly settled for a point mid way through the second half (not that we ever really liked like winning) but, miraculously, we showed we can defend and hang on against a determined side. I'd be more upset with the result if I was a home fan - they really should have put some of their chances away. Overall I'm happy with a point and relieved that we kept it to just two losses on the bounce, especially away from home. Onwards!

There's nothing wrong with the commentary, it's when it cuts out.

I've taken to having the match up on the SBK app to cover any dropouts. It's not got actual comms but the live scores and ball tracking give you a good sense of how things are going till the radio commentary comes back to life.. 

A frustrating finish but the more bizarre incident was the double penalty - don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Dior's goal was another stunner and, overall, we edged it but we were hanging on by the end with some dogged defending. I do question Ross' decision to hoof all his added time goal kicks so far up the pitch that they went straight to the opposition keeper. Meant we struggled to retain possession late on. A point drops us to sixth but I'm still on cloud nine. What a difference from last season this unbeaten start to the season is. 

£1.5m from 20+ minority investors so much better than a single rich owner. That way lies destruction. Will be interesting to see how far this takes in terms of the ten year vision for the ground. I think I'd happily take a few years of mid table obscurity plus cup runs and the odd fruitless playoff if it meant a football league worthy ground, a community focussed club and a firm foundation for promotion at the end of it.

I've been really impressed with the character Ollie has displayed - as well as the ability he clearly has. With development, and the good dose of confidence that every player needs, he'll make a fine keeper. I hope he can come back stronger from this loan.

PS. You lot do realise that most of the bookies have got us as favourites for the drop don't you? 🤔😂

Not quite. The 'top seven finish' odds have us as the third 'worst' club 😅
