Its a tough one!
But I think with superior physical presence and intimidation from Dennis Birch we'd pull through for 5-3 victory.
The girls would play better football though with a few well taken goals! Plenty of chin tickling in the baths afterwards and Coburn doing his famous mangina impression! :o

ahh so this is where i've seen coburn before...

there is no way we could beat the england womens team if we struggle to beat northwich with 8 men
-
Screw the result; lets hope setanta get the cameras in the ladies changing room for an indepth pre match report.
teasers
-
would that not be 220 toes on view!!!
-
Please could you show your working out for that one harv?
Got to be the lads for me. A few crunching tackles would put it up em!
-
High balls (to tall players, not Chris Senior) and shots to the top corner or lobbed over the keeper and Alty would win
-
would be a good match, but a contest between one of the girls will sum the game up. She tries to beat him for skill, then Robbie crunches her. Point being, ythey would have the trechnical advantage, but men are a lot stronger
-
sorry Narcissist i forgot the subs so will be alot more toes on view!!!

The current England Ladies Goalie (Rachel Brown) is somewhere in the region of 6ft tall and probably one of the most agile individuals I've ever encountered.(http://)

Harv, by my reckoning you will be seeing the toes of both sets of players.
I presume you voted 'not sure'

I think it would certainly be a close shave!

I think the England Ladies goalkeeping would let them down. While Rachel Brown is one of the better keepers in Ladies football she messed in the game against U.S.A. The disappointing feature in last years Women's World Cup was the goalkeeping errors. The other point is that there doesn't seem to be many tall goalkeepers. I know the keeper that played at Chester City Ladies was 6 foot 2 , and I remember the Wolves keeper was quite tall and looked like Jana Novotna, but generally I think the average height for Ladies goalkeepers is 5 ft 8.
-
it doesnt matter how good the keeper is.
your forgetting that Alty don't have any shots on target....

Fully agree with this.I was quite impressed with the Womens World Cup but the general quality of goalkeeping was the weakest area.I haven't seen Rachel Brown play very often & she may well be an excellent keeper but she was mediocre at best & often quite poor during that tournament.
