Thanks for the overview DP. Having read some of the posts over the past week, it seems we still need another striker? Someone who can play right up top and bugger the centre backs rather than move back into midfield trying to win the ball. From what I've seen, we don't really have anyone like that. I hope KG has something up his sleave, because a team like Altrincham (no disrespect to them) should be a team we can collect 3 points from.

Reply #6 - Today at 08:46 A desperately frustrating night against a woeful side who we should have beaten out of sight.
It was a game in which we needed the second goal and if Mohammed had not missed the sitter on half time we would have won easily.
A couple of points on Buckle.
I think the handing around of the captains armband is a farce. Having Mohammed as captain last night was ludicrous.
Bucks has not done to much wrong but coupletely arsed up the substitutions last night.
Their left back was blowing out his arse with half an hour to go but playing Phillips on the wing was a big mistake as we lost our shape completely.
Danny Stevens would have murdered the full back if he had been brought on but Buckles failure to bring him on was a blazing howler in my book.
However if anybody thinks we have lost the title after last nights result they are mad.
