Think we could do with 1 or 2 center mids as of the injuries, maybe Liam King as mentioned in another thread, any other suggestions?

Controvertially, any of the Vics potential loanees worth looking at; or are they too expensive (which I presume why Vics need to lose them!)?

Is Val still not an option? If he left because he wanted first team footy, he can have as much as he wants at present.

Maybe give a chance to 1 or 2 of the youths who have been getting experience locally

a fund has been set up specifically for bringing in players , play the youth players in central midfield in the bsp and i believe we will struggle.

I think we will have to struggle with no new players. no money, lets hope Robbie will be back soon.

depends how long danyykylkylykykylykyk is out for.

lets look at our midfield without Lawton, street and Anthony Danylyk. Maybe meechan and peyton or lane and peyton.

do you see the problem???

I have always been in favour of giving youth a chance & in the past
we have had a few players who have deserved to be given a go
but I think in the present youth set up, that there isn't any players
who seem worthy of that position.Until we can bring a couple of players
in, then I would go along with what my mate Nic Read stated in an
earlier thread & play Joe O'neill in centre mid, as we don't seem to
have many more options at the moment.A big well done to all the
players in achieving two great results over the festive period so far
& let's hope for a hat trick of wins on New Years Day.

Did Dale play up front for the whole of yesterdays match?  Because i thought the commentator made out that he dropped into centre mid at one point.  If so and he still got MOTM then surely this is a realistic option for cover whilst Danylyk, Lawton and Street are out?

Surely we could pick King up again on a free transfer or on loan, he played well for us last season, and as many have mentioned in other posts he can do better then Matlock Town!
