Dagenham and Redbridge ended up with nine the season before last when we won 4-2 at their place.

Unfortunately, I suspect that for most of the second half, Vics supporters were thinking exactly the same about us, especially when they were down to 9 men we were still playing 4 across the back and looked as if we would be having difficulty in scoring!!

Regardless, three points are three points no matter how you get them, so lets hope that this win will give us some much needed confidence for the remainder of the season.

Congrats on the result yesterday, but we did blow it and Maamria has got to sort out the discipline, thats five off in the last five games now.

PS the 2nd was never over the line :P

My mate said it was 3ft over the line and he had the flag in his hand!

According to the lines man, who was on the line, when he puts his flag up in the air, that mean a goal was scored. You however will have a bias opinion and u were probably in the stand so you could not have had a view of the second goal.
Once again Joe O'Neal comes to ur ground, and has something about scoring in that end in the last 10mins of a game!

The linesman was well placed and for once we got a favourable decision (whether or not the full ball crossed the line)

The Vics keeper (Tynan) did however go berserk and was booked for what I guess was dissent.

Unfortunately Tynan is making saves that would probably not have been made by his second choice colleague......we could do with young Mr C back in goal for Vics !

Must also congratulate Ballers for his fantastic sense of humour associated with his choice of picture in this thread............this man won us the world cup........unless of course you listen to Jack Charlton who still says it crossed the line (then again we did score a 4th goal as Martin Peters recently reminded Franz Beckenbauer)

I know, I know, it's called banter - something that sadly, is lacking on both sides.

(Hence the tongue in cheek smiley) 8)
