I've got to be honest and say I've still not actually taken it in. I know its happened, I was there and have watched it again since but it was like watching one of those incredible endings involving someone else like that city v gillingham game. As the new season approaches it'll probably feel a bit more real.

As far as I'm concerned there ARE no bigger clubs.

I watched the Barnet game 22 years after it took place and I think I'll watch this for the next 22 years as well.

One of the other bits I love is from the interview video ( link below starts at right place or go to 34 seconds in ) where you can pick someone each time to see their reaction..

Those shots are the most mental thing I have ever seen at Moss Lane...

This is strangely something I miss loads. Going to places like Mansfield and Wrexham and getting a draw or even a win sometimes felt much more meaningful for some reason. Can't wait!

Agreed.  There is something extra about going to places like Wrexham and winning.

Come on Alty.

My daughter told me that the lads were singing Alty songs at altrincham college of arts (green lane/delaheys to normal folk) in the yard at lunch yesterday, that's what its all about. The pull of playing Wrexham, Grimsby etc over some outfit on a roped off field behind a sports centre is incalculable to this club, even if you can't see it outwardly

I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to be delighted with a win and not too down hearted with a close defeat away from home.  In this league a defeat was really disappointing and a win only a sigh of relief that we hadn't slipped up most of the time

I've just watched them again too.  Delighted to see that the first goal comes straight from a throw that Reeves won by chasing a lost cause.  He did that all day and was brilliant.
