He was excellent for us, and things like this will only continue to encourage clubs like Crewe to send players to us.

Speaking of great former loanee wingers, I just noticed Josh Ginnelly is likely to be released by Preston in the summer, although I believe he did well at Hearts, maybe he'll end up there permanently.

Saw Josh play for Hearts on telly. They're in the Scottish Prem next season so that's a great opportunity for him.

He's missed a lot of the season with injuries, but if he's fully fit he's looked perfectly capable of playing in the Scottish Premiership. If Kristian Dennis can do it, Josh certainly can.

Doesn't sound like Crewe fans are impressed with this one, says he's had a pretty poor attitude etc but could all be sour grapes.

Championship is a BIG step up - good luck to him.
