New home kit next season?
« on: April 15, 2013, 01:29:28 AM »

Am I right in saying we're due a new home kit next season? If so, is it going to a vote or is it already decided? Either way, can't wait! :)

Both home and away kits are remaining the same next season. I am currently in discussion's with the club about a possible "Cup" shirt.

How about the black and yellow stripes we had at Spurs!

I'm hoping that the de-fib shirt we wore against vauxhall
will be our new one. I thought that looked pretty smart.

That would depend on what period of history you looked at and originally it certainly wasn't red and white stripes. I'm only babbling for the sake of it though really and for me it has to be read & white stripes also.

No idea, statisticians and historians far greater than I would need to answer that.

I remember reading that we first played in red & black stripes and subsequently in a red strip and then in red and black quarters, but certainly in the modern era predominantly red & white stripes

I get scared when we play in different cup shirts. Think it is because of our loss against Witton.

I like the two kits we have at the moment, aqua served us well in the cup this year  :)

I would favour keeping it simple - one home kit (red & white stripes), one away kit & no gimmicks for cup matches - they tend to backfire anyway! I really don't see the point of changing kits regularly at our level.
