Altrincham FC First Team / Well done to Lee Sinnott and the players

I was nervous about today's game beforehand and I've got to say I'm delighted that we smashed them. Lee Sinnott deserves a lot of credit for getting this result, especially after losing both his main central midfield players in the run up to Christmas for one reason or another.
More of the same on New Year's Day please, today's result has made my Christmas complete!

According to their official Twitter feed, Scun.thorpe made a bid but it was turned down. I imagine they'll be in receipt of several bids for their players over the net month or so.

I first watched Alty when I was about 6 but have been a regular and "proper" Alty fan ever since the age of 9. Prior to that I "supported" City (ie. had the kit and wanted them to win but never went to any games).

If I remember correctly, all of our home games were filmed in 1994/95, I think we perhaps even had a commentator. Does anyone have any idea what happened to these videos? There were some great games that season and it would be good to see some of the goals again.

NEW LOAN SIGNING
Altrincham FC have signed left-sided midfielder/defender Adam Dodd from Blackpool on a month's loan (to January 7th). Born in nearby Kirkham, he has been at Bloomfield Road from under-10 level and signed a contract for Blackpool in May, 2011.

Altrincham FC First Team / Changes on the way

I think I'm correct in saying that Williams and Lawrie have to go back to Telford after Saturday's game at Halifax?
Lee Sinnott has already said he's looking to bring one in (hopefully before the weekend) and I sincerely hope that the two places freed up by the loan players departing will enable two more to come in. Assuming that we are able to work on a one in, one out basis, it seems likely that 3 new players will arrive in the next 10 days. Who knows, maybe more will leave, thus enabling more new faces to come in?
Hopefully we'll see the defence totally revamped and the midfield strengthened. I just hope that sentiment goes out of the window and the right changes are made while there's still time to rescue our season. Other people know better than I where the weaknesses lie in the team but things must be addressed. I've been pretty defensive of Lee Sinnott and I maintain that he should be given more time, but he really needs to earn his corn and halt this recent dip in form before things get out of hand.
There is a clear window of opportunity for decisive action to be taken, let's see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

Lynch Williams Flynn Lees
Lawrie Densmore Lawton Danylyk Clee
Reeves
I think we need some more beef in the midfield in order to take some of the strain off our suspect defence, hence playing Lawton and Danylyk together. I think the balance is there with Lawrie and Clee providing attacking options. A draw next Sunday wouldn't be a disaster anyway after our recent away results.
