With some of the old classic threads getting a mention and the forum generally getting a kicking, time for some light relief - favourite Forum one liners please.

mine is very old, theme of the thread was Alty players with food as a surname (it was close season and we were bored) and this one, for no apparent reason, genuinely made me laugh out loud:

(Colin) Little sausages on sticks

I can't remember who posted it, sorry

One the all time favourites was when Lee dared to take a holiday on his appointment and was forever referred to as either sinnout or sinnin

When did we build our new toilet/snack bar block? Because I remember somebody asking about where they are and Hughesey (I think) going "I'd sooner sign a big striker, I can have a sh*t at home."

Absolutely cracked me up that.

'20-20'

Just to add some additional context to this, Leicester City have only just managed this feat over their highly-publicised last calendar year.

I did some checking on this when it was first announced as a target...........going back over ten seasons of records, the only Conference Team to manage such a turnaround in form were Crawley when they went from almost relegated, to world beaters, champions at Christmas after finding a million quid in a bag in a lock up at Gatwick Airport
