Trafford
« on: July 17, 2014, 12:25:31 PM »

For me this is where pre-season begins. After a few games of getting the sharpness back, I always have Trafford down every year as the marker where things start coming together. Everyone know's where we are currently short, and everything will be done behind the scenes to sort that out.

And although a friendly, I'm sure many of the players, and Sinnott and Tolson, will want to banish any memories of the worst day of last season.

The FA cup defeat was the season's greatest display to managerial ineptness

The FA cup defeat was the season's greatest display of players letting the manager down and the manager not reacting quick enough.

Corrected for you.

...and it's way past time we put that horror show behind us.

Eyes on the future now, I am sure Lee wrung the last lessons out of that defeat many months ago.

Don't read too much into today's display, the majority of Traffords players were at the managers wedding until the early hours of this morning so won't be exactly fresh!
