Forget the fact he is the leagues top striker and a great player.

His performance in leading the singing in the bar from a chair for about three hours, dressing up as Rocky Robin, scoring a pen in the dark at the Golf Road end then throwing the head in the air and then running to fans to be mobbed will also live long in the memory.

Getting all the players up to start a chant each was superb as well.

And full credit to Jimmy Hardman for balancing on a chair to lead the rest of the singing despite have 34 bottles of Bulmers x

I understand that there is no need for him to go to Barrow?

Wish I could have been in the bar last night instead of a train back to London
Now at work with a hangover, completely knackered (couldn't sleep Friday or Saturday) built still keep welling up when I think about it

To me it was abit like when goran ivanisevic won Wimbledon years of heart ache then finally getting what you deserve though not sure the big Croatian drank lots of larger and sang about not going run down former ship building towns in Cumbria

Sounds like a lot of fun  ;D. We thought he looked as though he wasn't sure about playing his old club and that's why LS took him off?

I spoke to James in the bar before he had too much beer! A decent bloke and had a good chat with James. He's going nowhere apart from playing for Alty next season!!
