If, as a lot of people have said, Lane was hard done by yesterday, I presume we can get the red card overturned with the use of video eveidence?

I thought red cards could only be overturned in the capacity of a 'wrongful dismissal' ?

Wrongful dismissal or mistaken identity. It costs £300 to lodge. Either way Lane is baned for tomorrows game, so might aswell save the £300 as I can't see the FA increasing the ban for hand ball. (I'm assuming that it's only a one game ban for hand ball?)

A profesional foul is a one match ban.

Lane's dismissal will be judged to be a professional foul, so he will just miss the Wrexham game.
