I know many Southport fans who never thought they'd live to see this happen. They are absolutely delighted.

Funny because there was some mention of how envious we should be of their financial strategy not so long ago. Now it seems that was not for everyone.
Whilst I'd be happy if the chairman stands down, providing the right people are there to step in, I'm not sure I want him to do so on the back of extensive and vitriolic personal abuse. Hopefully it won't get that bad!
