I only ever spoke to him once and that was because I was wearing a neck brace after fracturing a C7 vertebrae in an accident the day before the Bank Holiday Monday game away at Grimsby which we had to win to stay up......and win we did only to blow it big style a few day later.....think this gentleman wore a soft collar whilst recovering from an injury of some sort. Just remember he was a nice guy and part of the fixtures and fittings in the NWS back then along with others since departed like Keith Davey and Pete Warby

Very sad indeed.

I knew Jim for many years and a nicer bloke you would struggle to find.

It's often said at times like this that the deceased was "a proper football man"  Jim was, and then some

RIP Jim

Condolences to Family and Friends
