Strong and pacey.

The way buzz is talking him up you'd think it was Diego Costa!

Here's hoping

It sounds like it's a done deal so I presume he's on contract somewhere and it can't be officially announced until 1st Jan? If he's as good as MD is making him out to be he'll bag plenty of goals,no pressure then 😊

Beggars can't be choosers. We're not quite begging but we ain't gonna get many interested players.

Kyle has got some spirit, unlike a couple of dozen in the shower of clart that have pulled on the red and white shirt this season.

I'd be very happy with Kyle Perry but MD has said the fella signing is pacey so that rules KP out.

Apparently it's some German guy, D. Gaulss or someone. Bit of an oddball apparently, but known in some circles for scoring loads of goals.

If he was any good he wouldn't be available to a club bottom of the league

Apologies.  Re-read my post and it does sound a bit arsey.  Wasn't intended to be.

Agree with KPs pace.

I'd love for Kyle to return to Alty. As you say York Alty, we have sadly missed that sort of strength and spirit this season.

He may be surplus to requirements at a higher level but that doesn't mean he isn't any good. Let's atleast give the guy a chance to pull the shirt on and show us what he can do!

Richard Peniket?

Jordan Sinnott's scored more goals for FC Halifax Town than him so far this season!

Peniket is currently on loan at Telford and hasn't scored in 4 games. He's only scored 19 goals in his career in 138 games at Conf National and Conf North level so fingers crossed it's not him!

In the past we've signed other strikers from Halifax were finding goals hard to come by...

Danny Hattersley...?!

If we sign a striker who can't get a game in a mid table side in our league then it opitimises why we have no ambition to avoid relegation.

Why don't we offer top scorer in the league below good money then at least we have a proven striker for next seasons pub league campaign.

Before we worry about planning and signing players for next season, we need to find a manager first.

Joking apart but if it was Jordan Burrow I'd be delighted - bit part player in Halifax side or not. Think he could be just what we need. although we might have to make the radical change of supplying him with some service.

If I was a betting man, I'd probably expect it to be Ryan Brooke though.

Could be wrong, but I don't recall Jordan Burrow being particularly tall.

Jordan Burrow is 6' 1" but he signed for Gateshead last month for an undisclosed fee on an 18 month contract so it won't be him! If it's Ryan Brooke then it really is the end!

Anyone we get at this stage of the season is not going to dig us out of the current pile of poo if we are going down best keep our money safe and rebuild in the close season when better players are available, bringing back Kyle Perry or signing Richard Penniket would be  panic buys and the time for panicking as long passed. We need to win 5 games to get out of the bottom 3 and to stay out in our current position would require play off form and the way we are defending this season we wouldn't make the NPL play offs  next season. It needs a complete overhaul and that can only be done in the close season
