Debut Droylsden Derby

Just wondering... I have never been to an Alty v Droylsden derby. How does it compare to the games against vics? Is it more/less derby-like, if you know what I mean?

no rivalry although them singing about us being from wythenshawe is quite funny. quite a working class area so they will see it as playing a load of cheshire set types if im stereotyping where as some of us would think that shameless could easily be based on droylsden -a touch chavy

This is the biggest game we have had against them so it should be a great atmosphere...buts its never really been considered a derby.

Wythenshawe is like Hale Barns compared to Droylsden.

You'll appreciate the flags they have ... That's all I'll say .. As if supporting Droylsden isn't bad enough the 'main team' of one of the flag owners tells it all.....

Never counted it as a derby in the slightest, just somewhere where we have to go... Is a shame(less) really.

I've got a soft spot for Droylsden because I played Badminton there when I was at Uni and they were the first non league team that I've ever seen play.  COME ON ALTY!!!
