Title: Alty v York on Tuesday.
Post by: Nonleaguer on January 25, 2009, 01:05:54 PM
Having just listened to Martin Foyle's interview (BBC website Non League page) following their defeat at Eastbourne it is quite apparent that things are indeed a little nervy with York now seriously looking at teams below them in the relegation places. If we put in another strong performance to get the ball rolling, we can maintain our games in hand over York and increase the points gap a little more.

It seems that both Purkiss and McGurk are likely to start against us as Foyle is intermating that they will be stronger and add more to the squad.

On our showing from yesterday, we have the ability to take a game to any team in this division and should really go for the 3 points.

Come on ALTY lets keep the momentum going!!!!

These next 3 home games are big'uns aren't they?!  A big effort needed from the lads, but it is definately within our capability to surpass last seasons points total in this period of time.  In my opinion that is fantastic that we could have passed that before the middle of feb!  After yesterdays performance, why not!

BBC:  Altrincham v York
Altrincham could give a home debut to Jordan Hadfield after he impressed in a run-out as substitute following his arrival on loan from Macclesfield.

The Robins will welcome back midfielder Anthony Danylyk from a one-match ban but Colin Little is out for three to four week with a hamstring injury.

York expect to recall defenders Ben Purkiss and Dave McGurk after injury but Steven Hogg is still unfit.

Striker Adam Boyes could make a rare start after impressing at Eastbourne.

He didnt do much really. That wasnt through any fault of his own mind. Looked like he doesnt mind going in for a challenge. Had a fairly quiet afternoon but hopefully we can see a bit more of him and more of what he can do to make a proper judgement soon.
