There is talk of Jordan Hulme on another thread. Would he do it at conference level or do we need an older striker proven at EFL level?

Henderson from Salford would be my shout to try and loan. Ellison from Newport would be a gamble at his age but could do a job

I see that Ashley Hemmings scored for Kiddy yesterday and he also got their 1-0 winner against Grimsby in the second round of the cup.  We could do worse then to have him back if he became available under reasonable conditions.

I thought that he was a class player during his time with Alty and he always looked as though he could play well at a level or two above NLN.

I suspect that we would have to be in a position to offer Hemmings a full-time contract in order for that scenario to unfold.

As has been said many times before number nines are at a premium and can demand full time football.
It seems to me that we're going to have to do without signing one until we go FT.
Hopefully that will be next season.
As has also been said on numerous occasions. Jordan has already shown his preference for FT football rather than ambition. We need someone who wishes for both. That's not him.

Can we get a f/t No9 who can carry out extra work at/for the club?

He looked quality in the cup highlights. I seem to remember when he was with us he hardly ever lost the ball. I don't know if we could get him though I'd love to have him back.

There's a lad called Jordan Buckley for Warrington Town who's banging them in

He's certainly not a number nine.

We need to let the Jordan Hulme thing go.

Ian Henderson is quite an interesting short-term shout - I watched him a lot at Rochdale and hadn't realised he'd fallen down the pecking order at Salford (assuming that's what's happened given their recruitment policy). Lives locally, looks after himself and quite mobile, would probably be closer to what we've missed in Jordan than other options so far.
