How would you approach Crawley?

The forum is very quiet so I thought I'd start the common 'team prediction' thread off..

On Tuesday I heard someone say 'kamikaze it' and go all out attack. I agree, we've nothing to lose and I'm not sure we'll be able to contain them for the full ninety if Smith isn't back in the team.

Coburn, Milne, Welch, Williams, Brown, Somner, Densmore, Hewson, Denham, Reeves, Clee

4-3-3, Reeves instead of Twiss. If we're going to attack them I wouldn't play such a conservative striker, Reeves has pace.

4-4-2 with Reeves and Twiss up front. We should accept that we're likely to have fewer chances than them, but at least if we set-up to attck she create a few of our own. If Stu plays well and the front players take their chances, we could sneak a 1-2.

Sadly, we're likely to lose 2-0 or 3-0. Crawley have some very good mercenaries players. It'll be a great achievement if we get anything out of the game. I just want us to actually try for the win.

Jimmy crankie will be fully expecting us to try and do a containing job,we should go either 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 with two out and out wingers they will pick us off if we sit and try and defend, might aswell  go for it

There's always one ! I did think about making the same comment but as I haven't a clue where Crawley is, other than ' darn sarf ' I couldn't be bothered looking up the directions on Google.

..and another thing ?......

why are we playing them in the Cheshire Senior Cup ? (see main website)  ???

Trying to stop another topic descending into a LOL festival..

As Hughsey says we may as well go for it...they will expect us to just sit back.

Who knows...if they have a day where nothing goes in and we take our chances when they come...then it will be the best interview ever given to the NLP by Mr Evans.

It will be the last thing they are expecting so why not give it a go?

Gutted I can't go to this one, I've got to work instead.   :(

Agree that we should go for it... It is reported that Tubbs is struggling with an injury which means he is fkn CERTAIN to play...

Lets have a go and piss off the Mad Jock

Leaving aside the obvious one (turn left out of station, left at the end & follow your nose) I'm with the 'have a go for the hell of it' brigade - nobody seriously expects us to get anything from Creepyville so why not?
