Morrioson, Lenagan and Marsh.
No tears shed here

Testament to the poor recruitment of Harvey. Second coming of the mass exodus.
-
As mentioned elsewhere, on balance his signings were poorer or certainly as poor as youngs. I can't decided if he under estimated the task in hand, under estimated the league or just wasn't the right fit for current situation. All very well having a long term plan, but you start that once your league status has been secured surely.

I still feel that most business is done close season with small tweaks made after
We ended up having to gamble on who wanted to join us
We became very unattractive with the best players already settled

The best way i can summarise Harvey's reign was that it was like having a bewildered grandad in charge.
-
You wonder how Doughty stomached being Harvey's assistant, given how fundamentally he seems to disagree with the way he ran the team.

My thoughts exactly. Knows just how to bring kids up properly into decent and respectable human beings but given a group of 7 year olds who have already gone off the rails he'd be screwed.

Marsh: looked unfit and slow;
Lenighan: substituted in all of the three games in which he played. Beyond abject. Good riddance;
Morrison-Derbyshire: well, at least he wasn't horrendous against Salford City but he'll probably only be remembered for having the longest surname of any player who has appeared for Alty.
-
Morrison-Derbyshire looked OK. Just had a feeling he will be better than Clayton who I think will be too slow. Now show the door to Goodall and Hobson. Unfortunately both will be on contracts and probably a decent whack too.
-
There's no way Hobson is going after the way he spoke about him in his Blyth post match interview.
-
Hobson is probably not going to score many if any goals, but he could be useful at holding up the play if we bring another winger in to play on the opposite flank to Miller.
Goodall is all round dreadful.

Could do with a fast striker and hobson plan b

Craig Hobson has a role to play.

Cinderella? ;D
It is the pantomime season after all.
Oh, sorry, that started in August.
-
Fair dues Hobson got the ball back across the goal for Moult to score the first on Tuesday. No-one else would have managed that.
I think he's got a role and it's not diving about trying to con the referee.
