Title: That is a superb away win
Post by: Macsporran on November 14, 2015, 02:33:49 PM
Well done boys, was great to see that battling performance .

Deasy was immense, must be one of the best in the League.

Plus, well done to these fans....though seeing Scott Leather dancing in his shreddies in the dressing room has left me scarred for life.

Fantastic result.

Well done to everyone.  Special well done to Heathcote,  O'Keefe and my mom  Crowther.

Still want a couple in.

You cant argue again with the players application and hard graft and today we won by playing decent football, there was nothing lucky about that win.

Full credit to the whole team and the hardy fans who made the trip.

Josh O'Keefe has improved with every passing game and that first goal by Reevesy was just pure quality, but you can't really look beyond the keeper for motm.

I notice that the Bromley Manager couldn't bring himself to praise Alty...
All about his lot
Typical ...

Still don't understand how we can beat the top teams and lose to lower , hope we can change that next Saturday, Heatcote showed he is going to be an asset for future well played Sam .

we seem to raise our game against better teams who tend to play better football that suits our play and bottle it against poor bully boys

Great atmosphere in the Community Sports Hall and a fabulous turnout. Superb result lads. The Sports Hall feels like a second home sometimes as going to a party there tonight.   ;D

Deasy was our best performer by some distance.

Excellent instinctive poaching by Reeves and we certainly capitalised on their defensive blunders.

I suspect that Bromley's purple patch in this league is well and truly over and reality is beginning to bite.

Six of the current bottom nine clubs in the league lost this afternoon.....and some of them took a bit of a drubbing, too.

Not a bad day, all things considered.

48 goals in the 12 matches : average 4 per game, or 2 per team.

Congrats to everyone on today's unexpected victory.

Great day for Alty.  Used the ball well, great GK (again) and that boy Reevesie did his usual. Agree that we'll need more bodies back or in asap.  Couldn't help thinking that everything about the club looked good on TV - even if they cost the club two-and-a-half grand........  ::)

Outstanding victory today from the lads, obvious stand outs were Deasy & Reeves but thought Griffin was brilliant also.

Agreed -  I normally don't rate Griffin, I only seem to see games where he gets skinned regularly , but today he made several great interventions

Superb result and performance judging by the comments....I couldn't go or get to the CSH but hope I can comment positively even so  :D

Deasy is turning into a keeper worth a point a game...and seems to have taken to the club and fans.

I know. They could not have shown it any more prominently on live TV could they? ;)

I see Tim Deasy is in the Team Of The Day and Lee Sinnott is the Top Boss in the Non League Paper today too. All good publicity for the club.

I thought we were superb yesterday. I thought the win was a result of the way we played. I agree that a least 2 of our goals were because of their defensive errors but put them under pressure and we took our chances. We were the better team.

Redhill, I think I walked back to the station with you and your lad yesterday - unless we have two sets of fans in Redhill!

Great result yesterday, well worth the 5:30 start and early morning flight from Dublin. Think I am blessed, two weeks in a row now. Also would love to see link to first goal as my view was somewhat obscured by being in a portaloo.

Yip that is correct and it was nice chatting with you. We hope to be at Forest Green Saturday week.
