Any ideas about fitness of these two?

I'd love to have them both back (assuming they are fit and available to play)

Get them involved in the pre-season games on a match by match trial and see how it goes.

Nothing to lose in my opinion, if they can't handle the pace or don't look sharp enough, don't give them a contract.

Lee will have names I'm sure :)

If players are fit and good enough it doesnt matter where they come from or have been. To my knowledge neither Tom nor Matt are fit.

A guy at work runs a team in Liverpool in which Tom's brother (Matt I think) plays and they've been trying to get Tom to play for ages but by the sounds of it he won't play again. I got the impression it wasn't so much the injury but what's in his head......very bitter that a pro like Sinclair could do that to him.

BTW.....my mate said they had Gillian come down and watch a couple of times!!!!

Classic example  - Matty Crowell, almost everybody to a man on this forum (me included) wanted him back at the beginning of last season only to be disappointed ...

Why is it that anyone that has EVER had any slight connection with Altrincham FC in any way shape or form is constantly linked with returns?? Its all about evolution not revolution, Lee Sinnott's red and white army

I agree with reeve-o, we need to be looking for new blood, we have a new manager with his own ideas on players. Let's just let him build his own team.

We do seem to have this obsession with bringing back ex players all the time.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Matt back because he had a decent few games with hyde at the end of last season, so Tolse knows him.

Tolse had already left Hyde before Matt arrived.
