Fleetwood v Southport
« on: January 01, 2010, 05:25:50 PM »

Just been to said game, finished 4-0 to Fleetwood, Southport won the reverse on Boxing Day 5-0

Attendance was just above 2,500

Sean Clancy was left midfield and tore the right back to shreds, its ok saying its a league below, but these two are 1st and 2nd.

Gareth Seddon was a used substitute, and looked class when he came on.

Had a quick chat to Tom Cahill, who was warming up. He revealed he spoke to GH a few times in the summer and was going to join, but chose Fleetwood because its closer to home (kerching)

Southport tried to bully and foul to stop/start the game, worked until they went 1 down then had a man sent off for a challenge on a player hours after he'd played the ball. If they come up as they are its an easy 6 points, Fleetwood on the other hand are up and coming in my estimation. Albeit on one games observation.

blackpoolalty.  I saw s'port V Stalybridge the other day.  both were poor.  Two almost complete games and Southport haven't scored.  I agree, if they come up we should be looking at a win at home and at least a point at their hovel.

How stupid do footballers think people are sometimes?
