Shame it didn't work out for him as I know he was a decent player.
However this is very good news I think and hopefully means we can sign a right sided replacement that could actually play/come on.
-
Thought this was a good signing when we got him, pity for both us and him it didn't go to plan.
I guess Smickle may give up football after this, so good luck to him whatever he does.

That's quite an assumption!

Best news all year.
Good luck

Pity he didn't produce his Kiddy form for Alty. Don't care what his critics say, on his day he was very good. Sadly we never got to see that.
Good luck Brian

It is however he had such a lack of confidence it wouldn't surprise me because his poor performances were not down to effort
-
Didn't he say he had lost some enthusiasm for football before joining Alty? This won't have done him much good.
-
Best thing for all concerned.
-
good luck to him ,lets get a quality winger in !

With the form of leather and densmore ability coming forward I'd be more after a centr mid

Speaking of "thoroughbred players" let's get back Ryan Brooke, Michael Twiss and that John Mcaliskey fella, he was top notch.

I have. Got it a day late. Thought they'd sold out for a minute.

you betcha. £2.00 a go now, unless it's a Beano Max which will set you back a fiver. Not pocket money prices any more.
Dundee is the place to go for all things Beano related

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if he discovered his appetite for the game again
