According to the Trafford website this FA Cup game will take place at ML on 2nd September. Anyone know if this is true?

See halfway down, quite possibly the most idiotic thing I have ever read anywhere on a Non League forum ever. Come on Trafford anyway.

It says I have to be registered to read anything!! What does it say.

Not too keen on seeing FSCUM back at Moss Lane, however a cut of the gate receipts would be handy

Good point, should have remembered that.

As a few are unhappy that the game has to be played on a Sunday (though the majority to be fair do accept that Trafford as the 'home' club can play the game when they want/have to) some bright spark suggests that the FA Cup game kicks off at 12 noon and our match against Aldershot kicks off at 3 as normal as part of a double header. He's deadly serious as well which makes it even better. The poor bloke is getting rightly slaughtered.

I may be wrong but I don't think that we would get a cut of the gate receipts.

A facility fee for staging the match would be about it methinks as I'm pretty sure that the (nett) gate money does to the two combatants with maybe some to the FA

I went to Trafford v Bacup Borough last night and it's definitely at Moss Lane according to the fans and the match programme.

I see FCUM lost again tonight, 1-0 at 'home' to Garforth Town. Heart bleeds etc etc
