Lewes pubs

I believe there may well be a drink or two involved on Saturday, this is what a Lewes fan had to say on Confguide re pubs worth checking out.

In the words of our esteemed webmaster 'Harveys ale is well worth sampling', you can't argue with that. :D

Lewes, Lewes, who the f**k are Lewes

(No disrespect intended)

Well, flying in again for this one. I've been mollycoddling my ulcer all week in preperation for Saturday. My luck for this season has to change. I usually only manage three games a season now and it's not been good so far. Flew over for Mansfield which was cancelled, flew over for Crawley which I wish had been cancelled (not really, but you get my drift) and now Lewes.

Come on Alty, safety is tantalisingly close....huggies at the ready.

anyone who has ever been to lewes will tell you that lewes is one big pub crawl
the harveys brewery is right on the main street.

unfortunately i will not be attending. i have completely knackered my back and cant handle the 4 or 5 hours required.
i have been looking forward to this weekend all season so you may imagine i'm not too happy

Now that is bad. I thought I was gonna have to miss it earlier in the week and I know how miserable I felt. We shall raise a toast (or failing that a pint) to you on the day.

Despite being in London since the start of the season, tomorrow is my first away game, 4th game of the season.  Starting in brighton around 12.30 and then letting the fun continue. Should be bringing a few with me at least!

Lewes pubs  v good, Brighton I'd recommend The Evening Star v close to the station.

Jim, terrible news, but get someone to get you there, beer is very recuperative. There will be a pint of Sussex Best in t he pump for you.
