ANOTHER date dependent on cup results ffs. From the Saturday of the cup game we play 7 times in 21 days until just after New Year. God help us if we get more postponements over that period, followed by a wet/icy January/February.

Was text chatting with Hendos, who would have missed yesterday as he's taken advantage of a cheapo from Ryanair and gone to Croatia. He tells me that water polo is big over there, and thinks we could look at the potential for maximising our use of the pitch....

My heartfelt thanks to all of you who came on Tuesday, many of you from far away. Special thanks to Ecky who, despite his own problems, gave Martin a fine eulogy.

Shortly beforehand, Pete Foster gave me a condolence card, signed by the players, and with over £100 enclosed. I donated it to the hospice. If anybody is in any doubt what makes our club truly special, this said it all for me.

He's Blackpool's player, so it would only be a problem if they released him, as Fylde have done with Ash. I wish Ash well - Kidderminster is local for him so it's a logical move.
