Would it be worth re-signing them now that we're back in Conf
North...I see Maddog got player of the year for Leigh???

I'd like to see Mark Maddox return in the role of Alty's Reserve Team Manager.

Having spoken to him a month or so ago, I know that he has successfully completed all his UEFA coaching courses and the man is Alty through and through.

Probably down to finances though.

Love to see both back and as said Mad-dog would be a great assett with his coaching badges.

With Rose, munroe and band we could do with another centre half to perm from especially if Talbs retires as it would free up Band and rose to cover ovther positions.

Pottsy...yes if was 100% fit could certainly do a jonb for us..is he 100% fit?

There were always question marks over Pottsy's fitness but there's no doubt he did a great job for us.

Can't see Barrow allowing him to leave though.

Maddox yes, but Potts no.

Gutted when Mad dog left, he really was Alty to the core, and we missed his attitude at the back after he went. As a coach, he'd clearly be able to make a difference. Fingers crossed eh!

Potts, too, was a great player for Alty, and when he's on form its was great to watch him even in the conf national. The fitness thing is too big a question mark for me. The squad needs to advance to win the conf north and re-signing a player who we could end up carrying through injuries and fitness troubles is a step back.

If I could bring any one player back to Alty this summer it would be Eddie Hussin without question. We need his leadership and energy.

I'd sign Mad Dog back definitely for all the reasons given but would have to think twice about committing resources to Pottsy

He's different to them though in that his physicality may be better suited to the sort of Centre Forward we'll encounter in BSN

I think we should be looking forward rather than back. Maddox and Potts are bobbing on a bit and as has already been said, they are not any better than what we have at the moment :)

I have to agree with Cult of....Mark Maddox would, in my view be a perfect (player) manager for the Reserves
