i have heard rumours that colin is taking the blame for us getting relegated because of the chance he missed and that he is in a pretty bad state ,however i think that yes he has had a lull in form but he has picked up and saved us several times this season.we need him more than ever now so he needs to know that we are 100 % behind him

I must admit I was slightly surprised to read that he had missed an open goal when the keeper spilled it back to him, unsure if it was a backpass or not.  There was very little to aim at (no pun intended) and it was not an easy chance.  I was stood directly behind the keepers line of sight and he made himself big.

Colin Little is a legend and if he stays he will get 20+ next year and thats a fact.  His column in the Messenger is always brilliant and honest.

I am sure he will stay with us and I know he'll be gutted.

One of the few Conference National standard players we had in my opinion.

One of the few Conference National standard players we had in my opinion.

This is very true, and seeing as though Little is staying I cant see anyone else leaving unless we have to let them go. There's hardly anyone in the squad who could say they would merit a place in any other conference side and thats why we went down.

On a selfish side i'd rather come back from france to see Little bang in a hat-trick against Moor Green than watch Alty get trounced 4-0 by Torquay without actually playing that badly!

Without Little's commitment and experience this season we would have been down long before he missed a chance in the last game! Chin up Col, its the golden boot award for you next season, and we dont have to go to Droylsden!

All players miss sitters? in games it comes with the territory,Colins goals along with others through out the season put us in the position that we could have escaped with a win so he should not worry about the Aldershot game, thats done and dusted now.Colin can go along side Jeff Johnson,Johnny Rogers and The ONE and only Jackie Swindells in Alty history.COLIN DONT WORRY ABOUT IT

As for gettting hammered 4-0 by torquay,no way that would happen they are the worst team in Devon just ask anyone from Exeter

Having watched Alty since 1993 I must say that Colin Little is probably the best I have ever seen in an Alty shirt. And he certainly will be next season.

He is a joy to watch, and his touch and vision are second to none in the Conference. He can certainly still teach these young pros a thing or two and he will take the piss next season!

His goals kept us up last season. They very nearly did again this season. I agree he is already an Alty Legend and should have no shame at all about Aldershot - when he had another good game.

Colin, do not worry about the possible goal, I was level with you and you had very little time to react.

We have all seen and done far worse over the years.

Hope you are back next season and have a good rest, you are fantastic to watch and are already an Alty legend!!

There are better strikers (not in the Conference) that Colin Little who have missed  easier chances than that!

Will totally love watching him bag 30+ next season.

Fully agree...without Colin we would not have got into the conference and would not have been in with a chance of staying up either year.

Head up Colin and get us back there next season!

As he is our most technically gifted player I feel he could really help develop the younger playes esp. Pat MacFadden.

So I really think we need him on the pitch and off. Whether he wants to go into coaching/management I don't know but he certainly has the experience and persona.
