Radio Robins has not been permitted to broadcast this afternoon's National League game from Meadow Park, therefore will broadcast remotely from the Community Sports Hall this afternoon.
You can listen to remote commentary of today's game on Radio Robins, sponsored by Ashley Mowers Garden Machinery, and the broadcast starts at 2.45pm.
The match commentary sponsor is 'The Non-League Lounge.'
The commentary team is Paul Salt and Ian Wilkinson.

A remote Radio Robins from the CSH is good enough for me today.
Boreham Wood can stick their stream where the Sun don’t shine,

+1.

Shame no one told the commentator what the Alty starting line up was.

Well done today to all.
Very good commentary.
Maybe we are being to honest / good with the other teams.
I cannot see why, with all the space in these grounds, that an official commentary team are not allowed to continue their duties.
If this had been a non-covid situation, the commentary would have been allowed.
Did Boredamwood think by restricting the Alty commentary that they would have more sales for their PPV?

I am sure they wanted as many people as possible to watch their stream and maximise revenue, especially as so few home supporters apparently purchase it, but Radio Robins did not broadcast five years ago either, so it's not just down to Covid. Boreham Wood demanded a fee to broadcast, as I remember, then.

All in all , I thought Paul and Ian did a very good job.
Well done to all , and three points 🥳

What I can’t fathom is why Borehamwood supporters would attend live matches when it’s possible yet won’t shell out a tenner to watch a live stream. Is there something we don’t know about?

Wasn't it Borehamwood that wanted to charge Radio Robin £60 for using the facilities but RR saw their bottom about paying?

It was Boreham Wood, they advised us that we would have to pay £200 to broadcast, an opportunity that we decided to decline.

They were advised to go forth and multiply.

In these cases then no-one should pay the home club for the stream and we should commentate remotely.
Can RR find this out in advance and forewarn us not to purchase the streams?

I’ll be leaving it as late as possible to book away streams in future. If RR say they are going ahead so will I.
