If we didn't think reevesy was coming back they would've had to sign a much better forward than mitchley

You would like to think so.......but we started the pre season friendlies with Brooke and Mitchley up front.

You would like to think so.......but we started the pre season friendlies with Brooke and Mitchley up front.

With the Reevesie money still sat on the table in case it didn't work out for him.

If he had signed for Gillingham that would have been available for other players.

I must say at the time I thought they were panic early signings however fair play he hasn't signed many duffs this season despite many last year like you say eck don't think he thought they would be our 2 main forwards

I am still inclined to think that if they had both played regular competitive football we may have seen better players. IMHO both have lacked match fitness all season and that has impacted heavily on their games.
