that is a disastrous result, and demonstates heathcotes inability at this level.   better players and no improvement in results spells serious trouble. having watched 4 of the first 6 we are still nowhere near being organised for this league. burying your heads will get us nowhere but the bottom four. managers who underperform in business are relieved of their duties. enough is enough

Why do we get the usual collection of idiots that would jump at the chance to blame world poverty on GH let alone an AVERAGE, not awful start to the season. Like blackpool alty said, we can't make a judgement on the season this early. Give GH more time to work with the new players.

Well maybe wait for the dust to settle or at least gain some knowledge of the game ? We could have been shoking but we could also been unlucky and deserved something ?

Like I said 6 games into the season isn't a good indicator, especially with the new players we have.

If we were going to get rid of GH we would have done it in the close season. Now anybody we bring in will be stuck with GH's players. Stick with him now, let's see where we are come Xmas, if it's as bad as last year we have no choice but to get rid...

Oh yes and as he's "Mr Altrincham FC" he won't be sacked no matter what he does, not sure why we have these threads at all really!  :-\

My unreliable supermarket source has just sent me the following by text

The better team lost today Eastbourne were lucky to win and on another day we would have won 3-1. Even the Eastbourne fans said they were lucky.

He had made the trip i have got to believe him lets wait for comment's from others who were there before jumping on the GH bandwagon >:(

I have just got back from the game, but missed the first half hour.
We dominated the second half and deserved to win. We did all the attacking.
We also had 3 good chances that we failed to take.
Warren hit a 30 yard screemer of a free kick that hit the joint of the crossbar and post.
I thought it was a good performance all round and we were unlucky.
However it is a poor result as today is one of the four away games we should be penciling in for a win this season.

For me the main issue is:

REPLACE GH WITH WHO EXACTLY???

Ive made a distinct point that i understand people wanting rid of the manager in order to change things. But nobody has any suggestions for who could replace him?
