My first season ticket as an under 16 was 2 guineas - and you got in for a season of Manchester League reserve football too!
I was proper gutted the following year when I had to pay the 4 guinea adult price! :o
(I'm sure some mathematician on here will correct me but I think that works out about 10p a game for under 16s and 20p a game for adults with the reserves thrown in for free)
I remember being shocked that my Leatherhead ticket cost £2. I only paid that to see The Jack Bruce Band at the Free Trade Hall!

I think the Germans have the right idea. Bayern Munich season tickets are very cheap for the Alianz Arena. The downside is that some fans buy season tickets but only go to games against top sides, so the stadium is half empty for half the games. Standing behind the goal at the Alianz is E15.00 per individual match (not season ticket holders).
The official gate for our game at Eastleigh was 1,200 and I said to the steward next to me that the actual attendance look half of that. He pointed out that they have 700-800 season ticket holders which are included in the attendance even when they dont actually attend - and that day most were at Southampton v Ipswich cup tie at adult £10 and child £5.

Main Stand season ticket prices at Moss Lane for the inaugural season of the Alliance Premier League (1979/80) were as follows:

Adults: £16.00;

Senior Citizens/Juniors: £10.00.

As was the FA Trophy final in 78, mind you it was 60p in at the Kippax then too.
