I kind of agree with Mark Harris's logic. It does make sense but never the less its a big ask for lads to travel 4 hours after work and then perform. Some one said somewhere that Whitby took full advantage of that. Any way an away point is Ok. Over a season these things sort of even themselves out.  I'm sure Whitby will dread travelling to Stourbridge or Henesford on a Tuesday night. Another 3 points on Saturday and Whitby will be forgotten. If Whitby were in the Premiership visiting teams would maybe fly up the previous day, stay over night in a 5 star hotel, do a little light training in the day, maybe a donkey ride on the beach, light tea time meal and then play. The reality is that doesn't happen in non league but it would be nice ha ! SBL

Its always sad when a team parts company with a manager but its life in football at every level. Its definitely a results game !!! I overheard some discontented talk just after the game from some Rushall officials so the parting of the ways came as no surprise. In truth they were never in it. The second half was a canter IMO.  Good to see Ben Harrison get MOM.

Emotions were a bit mixed last night. Best side won by a country mile and it could have been 7 or 8 but the Nantwich team from last year has been decimated. Its a new team with a limited budget I believe. I hope they will be OK as its a smashing set up with amazing supporters but I do fear for them this season TBH. As a previous post commented "men against boys" .

Of last seasons Nantwich players Alty have three, Southport have two, Stafford have one, Salford have one and the goalkeeper has gone pro somewhere! (But that's non league ).

It looks like the league will be a four horse race this year. Alty, (with a Y) ha,  Shaw Lane, Stourbridge and Warrington. in my opinion.

Does anyone know much about Shaw Lane? I know that they won last seasons Evo North Division but that's about it. Are they potentially going to be yet another sugar daddy team?  SBL

Were they that poor or were Alty way too good. I think the latter. I hope that Phil The Power and Sorvs were pleased with the teams professional performance SBL

Bembo-Leta was my MOM on Tuesday. Good athlete and has got pace. Good nights viewing. We had a good 3 x 30 minutes (I haven't mentioned the word half hour) ha! Road works on M6 going home dampened the night! Never been to Stalybridge. Whats it like? SBL

Sorry guys/girls (maybe) I meant Endured sh*t. And Alty not Alti. Big 3 points needed tonight. Hope the team has a couple of good half hours, ha. SBL

Dear Alti fans, you guys have injured sh*t over the past 2 years but trust in Phil the Power. The side is beginning to look good. Sometimes a grind out 1 0 win is OK !

And,   just looked at the league tables. We are the second joint top scorers in the league with 19 goals. Have a guess who (somehow) have 1 more? U got it Farsley. Ironic ehh!

Excellent result tonight marred in my eyes by a referee who was limp to say the least. No one wants to see players sent off unnecessarily however they should have had 2 red cards tonight and got off lucky with that.

What all you top top Alti supporters have to remember is that these teams (like Abbey Hey, Coaville, Whitby, Barwell and all the rest) aren't going to lie down and let you rub their bellies every week.  They want to win just like we do.  Trust Phil the Power and Sorvs and their top support team to gain promotion and hopefully a good FA cup / or FA Trophy run...........SBL
