Surely Boston were in a similar situation when they came down a few seasons ago? Could Chester therefore not face a further demotion at the AGM?

They have to say this though really, can you imagine this:-

"I know we are on minus 10 points and have no money and need someone t buy us, but we dont have a pray of getting back in the 2nd division. But hey please can you give us £500,000 to keep the club afloat."

Vaughan wants someone to buy Chester for £1 million. Mike Ashley wants someone to buy Newcastle for £100 million. Which one is the most deluded?

Apparently Vaughan has met with the Conference ( I imagine he means the BSP!) and they are looking forward to Chester joining.
Better still, there are players queuing up to join Chester and they are well equipped to compete with the 'Top 5' next season, even taking the 10 point hit into account..

I remember hearing the likes of this from Wrexham twelve months ago!!

I wonder which other four teams (apart from Alty) constitute the Top 5.
