Good luck, are you going for North West Counties status or is that Wythenshawe Town?

Good luck with the new ground. I will be going to Stalybridge on Saturday, but will try to get to Hollyhedge Park at some point this season - maybe an early evening kick off in April, assuming you don't already have floodlights?

I can remember the club having a really good run in the Vase, and, checking the records, see this was in 84-85 when the Amateurs made the 5th Round. They beat Rushall Olympic 6-0 in the 4th Round, before losing 2-1 at Halesowen Town (familiar names nowadays!) and I think played a couple of league matches at  Moss Lane to avoid a fixture pileup.

My sons U9 junior team played on the park pitches at Hollyhedge Park 2 weeks ago vs Wythenshaw Amatuers and I must say the standard of those pitches was superb - a credit to all involved there.
