bit steep, actually looking at their home form we may have a better chance away than at home

Luton - practically a home game for me.  Visiting Luton is a real experience.  I went quite a lot back in the 80s  - my brother in law supports them.  Firstly it is a real serious sh*t hole.  There has been talk of a new stadium for decades.  That coupled with lack of money means that no money has been spent on it.  Then you enter the away end through some terraced houses.  Then you go up a walkway over their back gardens into the seats.  Cos they were in the Championship it as all seated - but just seats bolted onto existing terrace which means that for anyone over 5' 2", there is absolutely no legroom and loads of pillars in the way.  Then there is the entire side of the ground made up of solely executive boxes (although I'm not sure executive and Luton belong in the same sentence).  Outside the ground it is like being in Bangladesh - right in the middele of the Asian community (actually some great Asian food stores).   Apart from that they are just another load of fans who have been crapped upon by mismanagement.  Expect about 5,000.

I went there in 1985 when Luton, then in the old First Division halted Man United's 10 match winning run to the start of the season with a 1-1 draw.
I got there about 2 hours before the kick-off and still could not get at decent view. Behind the goal was terraced then and had fences all over the place.
I could not see the goal nearest to us for the whole match. A dreadful ground.
I also recall that the ground is a very long walk from the Railway station.

I went Luton v Accy Stanley last week. Its an 'experience' walkin to the ground thats all I i'll say.... I did say its like ' the 'desh'

The set up reminded me of Hereford for some reason, very inclosed ground and down one side is just corporate.

Can create a hell of a noise if needed but they need something to get them going so hopefully we can keep them quiet with an early goal ?? Roper there centre back weighs more than Me, Hugesy and Jo put tothether !!!

I've heard Luton fans are talking about boycotting the FA Cup after the points deduction they got from the FA though.. Hope not cos they average around 6,000 at home and if we end up with a reply take about 700 away.

general rule of thumb at football grounds, you pay the amount for which ever queue you go in.

Is it just me or is that expensive? £20 to watch near-certain relegation fodder in League 2. Especially since a) Luton is not a high-income area
b) There is a large Asian community in Luton, and traditionally it has been difficult to encourage Asian families to go to live footy
c) By all accounts Kenilworth Road is a horrible place to watch football

Rubbish.
