Title: Torquay Flight options
Post by: Mrs Warbouys on September 27, 2007, 12:53:24 PM
Flights currently available with Flybe at www.flybe.com priced at £64 return

Sat 08 Dec 2007
10:50  depart.  Manchester (MAN)
11:55  arrive.  Exeter (EXT)

Mon 10 Dec 2007
16:00  depart.  Exeter (EXT)
17:05  arrive.  Manchester (MAN)

25 minute train journey from exeter to torquay is roughly £8 return, this is a viable option if you dont fancy doing it on the day, however you will have to spend TWO nights in in torquay as there is no sunday morning flight from manchester. Unfortunatly Exeter are away on the saturday at halifax or we could have made it a double header, unless anyone fancies taking in plymouth v brizzle ciddy on the saturday.

There should be a coach to this game, although that will be dependent on whether people support the coaches up to that date.

Tom has asked me to put on that your support is still needed for the Crawley game.

It will be said if we have to join the many other Conference clubs who don't take a coach to every game.

Support the coaches if you can.

(Note to Baldrick, this post doesn't need you to list 25 reasons not to go, thanks anyway)

I also looked at this option, train to Manchester Airport from Blackpool then the flights return, although from the link on Exeters Airport page I got a totally different price for the same flights you mentioned !! I think personally I will travel down Saturday by car, stay overnite and travel back after the game on Sunday.

Why fly when you can be gay?

And if you think you will get Plymouth v Bristol City tickets think again!
