Kept a distant eye on how they've been getting on since the collapsed, and am an infrequent visitor to the town, going past the site of the old ground.

Scarborough were also the opponents of my first ever Alty game, and have memories of plenty of games against them.

Making solid progress off the pitch, if this venue gets off the ground they would be well positioned for a healthy future.

Scarborough, like Maidstone before them, found that becoming a League club is not always the road to riches. Always had a soft spot for both the town and the club, and I hope this plan comes to fruition.

A conference club easily same with Maidstone.

2000 capacity looks rather short sighted to me, ground grading wise it will take you to step 3, conf north requires 3000, conference 4000. Surely easier to build it from scratch than the costs of expansion later I'd have thought?

Maybe - but where does the money come from?
