Me and a few of the lads are thinking about setting up a supporters side, like Kiddie and Telford have. This will be 11 a side and if we have enough interest there's a possibility that we could enter a British league called IFA.

http://www.internetfootball.org.uk  here's the link if anyone wants to have a look.

Looking at getting a friendly together once I know numbers. There's loads of teams in the north west so I don't think it would hard to do so.

If you're interested and over 16 get in touch with me, by email at dec_lan@hotmail.com.
Or if you know me just Facebook me.

Just looking at numbers now, so get in touch and we'll go from there.

Cheers, Dec.

I've only ever played 34 minutes of Sunday league football, when I was 27, but I broke my ankle.

If there is no maximum age limit, then I'm game...

Is there a limit on being a pudgy, slow, useless, sh*thouse? I'm roughly half as good as Kyle Perry. Happy to be involved though!

If youd like to be a part of this - or know of somebody who would - PM /  FB or drop me an email and Ill add you to the FB group

Its likely that therell be a few games post christmas and some in the summer, but hopefully even if we dont have a good number of games we can still meet regularly for a kick about.

Anybody not wanting to play for the side but wants to come down and have a kick about once a month or something is more than welcome to

I played some games for the supporters team between 78 and 80.  I played in front of left back George Heslop.
