Who’s to say that he will be giving up his scouting role? I’m sure he will still be watching a lot of football and has a lot of connections.

Nothing to suggest that in the official site blog. I'd be very surprised if Rylands would like it either. He needs to be focused on turning their season around and the players he is most used to watching are at a level that would be useful signings for them.
