We're going to win! (Twelfth time lucky, I believe?)

I'm going for 2-0 (Reeves, Densmore)  Att. 1231

1-0 to the Alty, Robbie Williams header from a Marc Joseph long throw in the first ten minutes, followed by a top defensive showing. Attendance 1135.

Maybe not.........I believe Mr Edit has now left the club.

If we have a decent referee today who will stamp out the strongarm tactics early on, then it should be a decent game and there should no longer be a reason to view Mansfield in such a dim light.

was it not your team who got 2 sent off? :o

anyway, here's hoping for a great game and hopefully a win for us, but we never do well at bottom of the table sides ;D so I will take a draw

Alty 3   Mansfield 3    Mccarthy turns out to be amazing and bags a debut hat trick.

A point is the minimum we require. I'd be happy with that and a good gate.

If Denham and Clee start we can cause them problems up front. Here's hoping!

I think the key factor today is the attendance. If the poor run continues and attendances drop then we have a real problem as it becomes harder to change things. Fingers crossed for a good result today and that the crowd stay positive.

Usually just a browser but couldn't let this pass without posting. Maybe if the club's owner didn't cancel the bus service that runs past the ground on public holidays a few more might turn up. I'm sure the locals wish the club well but the owner's not too popular amongst the elderly and disabled who don't have cars or a decent bus service.

I think I'm right in saying that the service is subsidised via a grant from GMPTE. If THEY don't offer a subsidy to cover a Bank Holiday service, then none will operate. Simples !

I suggest you write to your MP or Councillor - I doubt it will be the fault of Mr Goodwin.

Just out of interest, how many normally get off the bus on the matchdays when the bus service is running ? Any chance we might be able to look forward to some much needed support.
