As the season draws to a close i'm sure the club will be shortly be asking fans to vote on their 'Player of the Season' & 'Young Player of the Season' for part of the End of Season Awards... who would you plump for?

Young Player of the Year (24 or Under)...
Senior
Mullarkey
Smith
Mooney
Or A.N.Other

Player of the Year...

Kosylo

Or A.N.Other

Think for Young Player has to be straight fight between Senior & Smith... may plump for Senior...
For Player of Season probably still between these two plus maybe Colclough as well... may plump for Smith as when he doesn't play we struggle big time...

Hence my view would be...
Young Player -  SENIOR
Player of Year - SMITH

Guess people may have differing views from a hard season with several good players hit by injury ...

Senior and Kosylo or Smith

Kosylo was one i was toying with to fight with Senior, Smith & Colclough for main prize... but when narrowing down choice decided he'd missed too many games imho so went for Senior & Smith as above... we've missed Kosylo a lot this season... him & Smith drive us forward...

Kosylo has played three games more than Smith.

For me, Senior is the boy! I would have to go for Kosylo too, but Colclough has to be up there.

U raise a good point Leon... feels like Kosylo been out for ages as missed last 9 games but over the season has missed 11games... Smith didn't sign until 8th game (so missed 1st 7) and since signing has missed 6 games ie missed less than Kosylo since been here but Kosylo has overall played 2or3 more games in total...

I'd still plump for Smith (then 2nd Colclough, 3rd Kosylo) for Player of Season...
Young Player - still Senior (who missed 1st two games but since then holds record for mins played of outfield players)...

However, all about opinions and people will always differ in their viewpoints...

His absence has reaffirmed Kosylo as player of the season for me.

Smith as young player.

Hampson as most improved player.

Goal of the season, anyone?  Surely one of Colclough's blockbusters (or the pea roller from the corner spot)?!

Yep, think i'd plump for Hampson's 94th min equaliser against Sutton as my fav goal this season...

Looking over some of the results from this season shows some decent results against top teams like...

Eastleigh (A) 1-1, Hartlepool (A) 1-1, Wrexham (A) 1-0, Stockport (H) 1-1, Stockport (A) 2-2, Sutton (A) 2-2,
Torquay (A) 2-1, Hartlepool (H) 1-1, Notts County (H) 1-1...

Some decent results... pity we weren't consistent throughout the season and seemed to struggle against so called 'lower' teams... however, shows we can compete at this level and hopefully push on next season with some summer signings...
