The co-chairmen explained that a recent player-move, "the biggest deal we've ever put together" for a loan player had fallen through and the player had gone to a rival club where he has helped that club rise up the National League.
Any thoughts.....Asante at Chesterfield?

Thats who I thought of .Even to be in contention for him if it was shows how far the club have come

I thought it was Luke Armstrong who has gone up to Hartlepool on loan from Salford myself.

Better guess imo. Asante too often injured for Chester for my liking.

Armstrong is from the North East too, didn't the comment include the fact that geographical reasons were a factor?

I would imagine Armstrong from Salford would represent quite one of the biggest financial packages we've offered (as Lawerence put it on the update)
